Hi there
« on: Mon, 16 November 2020, 00:31:05 »
Hey all, I have recently been getting into designing deskmats and considering keycap designs and wanted to get my profile started here.

I've been kinda lurking kinda posting in r/mk but I mostly have been just getting into the hobby and admiring some crazy keyboards. What interests me the most about the hobby is how people take something that most people look at as mundane or even boring and turn it into a high profile accessory that gets regular use. I also am looking forward to learning how to solder and putting together my own kit as it reminds me of my mom's side of the family and has always been something that intrigued me. I currently have a GMMK Compact so pretty new to the whole thing but I really want to look into building a Nibble 65 or tidbit numpad from nullbits.

This is what I'm currently working with and expecting to upgrade my board early next year! Switch suggestions? I've got my eyes on alpacas or milky yellows.
