plate manufacturer in europe?
« on: Thu, 19 November 2020, 02:17:46 »
Can anyone recommend a decent metal cutting business in Europe, even better in France?
the story being that i plan to gift yampads to friends and coworkers and after trying my prototype i now know that it does need a plate, else the switches move about and even come undone too easily, and now the deadline is kinda short, so china manufacturing is kinda out of the question.

I would start out by searching for any manufacturer that does laser cutting og watercutting and ask them if they'd be able to help you out

I've been using Laserboost: https://www.laserboost.com/

I think they are in Spain.

Seconding LaserBoost. Apart from being able to upload your own design they even have a small catalogue of standard(ish) plates. I had a 60% brushed brass plate made and it was just under 65 EUR including shipping.

I used LaserBoost to cut 3 sandblasted brass plates for my own design and was happy of the results.
