my spidey sense is telling me that these switches are going to be black or clear.

seems like a really really good deal, too.

Great keyboards.  10x more solid than the mx11800 with compaq labels.  I'm typing on my modified mx11900 right now.  Worth $45 new or like new condition in my opinion.  Anyone that wants a quality cherry mechanical board should consider this.  Key caps are lazrd, 2 x ps2 connections, trash pad is actually pretty decent quality, and these boards make great parts boards for stiffer cherry springs, linear switches, or a case, controller, and pcb for a sawed-off mx11x00 as is all the rage with the kids right now.  I would be getting another one as a backup if I hadn't just bought 2 other boards from ebay this week.  Seriously, forget what you've heard about blacks, they're good switches and the fact that they were linear never really bothered me.  I like stiff, so that was a plus.  Although I've always *preferred* tactile, I liked the way they felt so much that I had a hard time committing fully to gutting the switches and putting the springs on brown stems.  Glad I did, though.

The code says H - but they're lasered? F & J are scooped, even.  They're really not double shots?  Hmmm, if they're blacks, I'd have ghetto reds.  Although ghetto reds for typing at work would have their draw backs. If they're clears, well I might just leave them alone, but I could always still swap the springs and have ghetto browns, lol.
I need to know the measurements, I have wondered if this board is short enough.

The black models might have double shots to be honest.  I actually didn't look at the model number before posting, I was haphazardly assuming a continuity in Cherry boards that has never existed, so that is my mistake. ;)

If they're double shots, then it's an even better deal.  Mine is a beige board with lasered key caps and I'm happy with it, DS key caps = double the fun.

I bought two of these (UK layout) for about $15 each from a batch a seller had advertised as lasered, and got one lasered and one double shot. Bonus!
