Grabert is a 60% keyboard kit that features an OLED screen, rotary knob, sandwich mount case, POM switch plate, and a 32-bit microcontroller. Grabert is open source, including its information, design, and build instructions, which are in our GitHub Repo, allowing you all to fork from our design and customize. To support our open source methodology, we chose FreeCAD and KiCAD for design. Grabert can be flashed either with QMK or Keyberon (a Rust firmware).
We (Cam & Yudi) finished our prototype run, but we would still like feedback from people in the keyboard community. If interest is high enough, we would love to work with a handful of people (~10-20) prior to a larger production run (direct feedback in exchange for 25% off the purchase price).
Based on our prototype run and estimates from suppliers, we are expecting to price Grabert at around $125 (subject to change).
