That thing looks epic, I'm gonna hazard a guess and say its an ALPS board, based on nothing at all. :P

Love the layout, though, except the fact that I prefer a thumb operated trackball.

Shame about the price :(

Looks like an OEM version of that iOne trackball keyboard, which uses fake Cherries, IIRC

I saw that keyboard on ebay a few months ago. It was pretty overpriced though. But it's not much compared to that Identity Systems one that's been up for years (Even before I joined this forum!).

not 100% sure, but it could be a Qtronix with blue cherries or an ALPS variant

Anyone familiar with this one?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ELECTRONE-KT-35M-3-Button-Trackball-Keyboard-clicky-NEW-/200509244632?pt=PCA_Mice_Trackballs#ht_3513wt_1137

The keyboard and especially the trackball looks very nice.  I personally tend to stay away from serial connected stuff any more.  Interestingly in the description says "AT plug and Serial 9pin connector".  But I don't think anyone will be mislead on this though as it's clearly a DB25 connector in the pictures.
