A friend of mine recently acquired an IBM SK-8806 keyboard with some nonstandard labeling. Does anyone know what to make of that one? Is it a standard layout for some program?

It appears to be an Icelandic keyboard, with all the letters. Actually, it's US-International. See Below. The beta-looking thing is a double-s.

I really want a keyboard with a thorn. It's my favorite English letter.

With that keyboard, you can type words like Eyjafjallajökull at up to 25WPM!

Used your links to find my own info. It's US-International layout. The intent is to give users the ability to input special characters in an otherwise standard US layout.

I stand corrected. I should have recognized it, because I just read this article yesterday, but I guess I missed it. It's too bad this layout isn't available for the Thinkpad T60/400/500 series.

Not that hard th get those symbols on a thinkpad

The finish is just perfect for the TP keyboard I have them on my X200t
