I need a carousel style keyboard tray
« on: Sun, 29 August 2010, 21:28:23 »
I just wish such a keyboard tray existed. It would allow those of us who like or have to use different keyboards depending on mood or obligation without having to disconnect and reconnect various keyboards.

lol, I'm still working on my keyboard shelf, then I have plans for a headphone mount. I could draw a picture and send it to you, lol.

If your main problem is plugging stuff in and out, use USB; you can leave multiple USB keyboards plugged in without any issues. That way you can just throw the annoying 'board away and grab a better one.
Current collection: HHKB Pro 2 black on black, HHKB Pro 2 white/grey blank, [strike]Dell AT101W[/strike] (sold to SirClickAlot), 1992 Model M, Key Tronic Ergoforce KT 2001, BTC 5100 C. Dead boards: MS Natural Elite, MS Natural 4000.

When you have time, please do send a picture. I'm not very good when it comes to handy work and I'm always impressed at how others come up with great ideas.

That's what I would like to get away with: plugging and unplugging. But, I wonder if I have enough room for a "keyboard carousel" under my desk.

I would also like a drafting table. I have too many hobbies.
