Coloured replacement keycaps for Unicomp boards?
« on: Tue, 31 August 2010, 06:16:23 »
Greetings fellow keyboard enthusiasts :)

I've actually looking to find coloured replacement keycaps for the current Unicomp keyboards. I've come across Fentek that seems to manufacture keycaps for Model Ms, but with the Unicomps adopting a 1 piece keycap design these days, wouldn't the Fenteks not work with these?

I'm aware that black and grey key caps can be obtained from Unicomp for $20 a set, but has anyone ever come across custom Unicomp keycaps that are in other colours?

Unicomp still does two part keycaps on their white keyboards. What you get with their black/grey keyboards is sort of a lottery. They will also custom make two part keycaps

Here's a thread on Unicomp replacement caps.  I'm not sure if Webwit bought them out or what so you'd have to give them a call.

Most pics have been substituted (lol) but there are a few in the thread.

Yeah, what's up with the duck pictures?
