I use the keyboard every day, and I want to make some new tricks for the keyboard. You can't do difficult things, add a backlight for the primary DIY, and it is still feasible to have a backlit keyboard.
Materials to be prepared: 1.5 meters of blue cold light, 1 meter of red cold light, one USB drive, one 1 to 2 connector. The tools are a screwdriver and a manual point drill. It would be better if there is an electric drill.
Removing the keyboard is always the first step. First buckle off the key caps, and then remove the screws. It has been used for two or three years, and it is a bit dirty inside, please ignore it. . . .
Remove the keyboard, the real body appears, and the keyboard accepts the substrate.
Punching is very important. It is necessary to design the entry position of the cold pipeline in advance. This position is different for different keyboard modules. You can also install it only at the letter key position. In short, think about it in advance. At the same time, pay attention to the diameter of the drilling hole, not too large, as long as it can pass through the cold light.
Start wiring, this is not difficult, just straighten out the lines and it's OK.
Complete the wiring and install and restore the keyboard keycaps. At the end, the blue and red connectors are combined with a two-in-one connector, connected to the USB drive cable, and powered by USB.
Seems better from the side. The overall DIY difficulty is not high, and the backlight effect is very dazzling when the lights are turned off at night.
