Well except for the odd sandals and rippy's space pen stabby thingy I am sporting pretty much what was listed including the screensaver =) ... well kinda. I will up the ante by adding metal swatches, plastic swatches, and metal testing kit to my wallet and keychain.


I have an old Mac IIci and I have After Dark and More After Dark. But I need a new monitor and I need another copy of After dark so I can play Lunatic Fringe! My absolute favorite game of all time! I only wish I could get it for pc. I last played it 13 or so years ago but I think about it and miss it everyday =(

The sounds, the little hilarious space ships and fire power. I wish companies would re-release more old stuff.

I regret throwing away some of my old computer stuff -- you can pile on as many emulators and abandonware all you like, but it's just not like the real experience. And some of it is highly evasive anyhow.

That reminds me of a game called "3D Astro Blaster", there would be alien ship bosses that kind of look like the pizza thing.


Although I had to take a screenshot of it myself as I couldn't find any on google. It was published by romtech -- later to be known as eGames. You don't see too many eGames things anymore though... I remember when their games were plastered in every store. eGames this, eGames that. I'm one of the few who knows they did dirty tricks such as spyware into their installers.

I talked to the developer who made this game for them:

He told me about it. They also treated him unfairly... and they would ask the movement for the keys to be changed: and then when they realized it was a stupid way of doing it, they would blame him! "why did you change it to this..." blah blah blah.
I'm kind of glad eGames is gone since they were so snobby, but at the same time due to nostalgia, it's shocking to me that I don't see their games on shelves anymore.

Thanks for the flying toasters (although, I haven't borrowed a copy).  
I've been lazy since I last reloaded my system and am still using starfield and XP default blue.
I don't have any of those things and probably many others.  Given more often than not I'm not allowed to be armed, unless I want unpleasant complications, I can't even carry my wanna be swiss army knife.  
I'm a still proud to be a geek.

yea, that hot dog stand is horrible.  Only way to make it worse, would be to change the red to hot pink.  I like my color schemes dark, so not as to shine too much painful light into my eyes.  I'm so not happy that my employers have changed things to blinding frickin' white.  I miss the old mushroom colors.

My NES needs a little repair, though.  It likes to blue screen, more than actually load the damn games.

I think I have a copy somewhere. But thanks - you prompted me to revisit Really Slick Screensavers, and they have an update (includes a new saver.) I just love the Euphoria and Hyperspace savers, but don't expect to run them with onboard graphics, they really need some horsepower.

Or you could just program one in C++ (or maybe visual basic).

Hmmm ... you could always record an 8-hour AVI of your flying toasters then use your media player as a screensaver.  I don't foresee any compatibility issues and it would certainly correct the "wrong toast" bug.
