Dear Community,

this is the interest check channel for the Edinburgh41, a 40% mechanical keyboard I designed in Edinburgh, Scotland. I have named the keyboard after this city in honour of the wonderful people who have directly and indirectly supported me on this journey. Please take a look at the “credits” section for details.

-   40% split unibody, column staggered
-   Analog thumbstick in the centre
-   Case
o   Gasket mount
o   Frosted and Clear Acrylic
o   Centred USB port
o   Symmetric design
o   High-profile
o   No angle
o   Maybe engraving, See IC form
-   Controller
Pro Micro or equivalent (wireless not yet supported due to thumbstick custom code)
o   Not to be socketed
-   Software
o   QMK
-   PCB
o   Hotswap (Kailh/Gateron)
o   LED underglow + one LED on top
o   Colours white or black, tbd (as of 24.10.2021), see IC form
o   Has to be self-soldered, apart from bottom side LEDs
-   Plate
o   POM plate included in every order
o   Additional plate options tbd (as of 24.10.2021), see IC form
-   Screws
o   M3
o   Colour/Material tbd (as of 24.10.2021), see IC form
