As I am planning to replace the white alps on my Minitouch with blue alps; I figured that I would take the opportunity while it would be disassembled and paint it to jazz things up a bit.
So I've been toying around with some mock-ups in GIMP, and I was hoping that I could get some feedback and suggestions. All my concepts would involve painting the case the dying the keys.
That being said please forgive my photo editing skills.
So here is my current minitouch. The GH keys jazz it up a bit, but perhaps we can do more?
Black keys, nothing crazy but not particularly attractive either.
Now this was inspired by the Italian red Filco board, which I am smitten with. I'm not sure how I feel about it for a Minitouch though.
So reversing things around, reminds me of Darth Maul, meh.
So let's reduce the number of red keycaps. I actually like this one.

Wait when did this become a Minitouch plus?!
This was actually something I thought of while in bed. If someone could ever refine it and apply to a HHKB that would be a damn fine board. However for my keyboard this is incredibly unrealistic.
