Hi, I've been using a CM Storm TK with Cherry MX Browns since 2016. There's nothing wrong with it, but lately I've been tempted by the idea of a smaller keyboard.
I don't use the numpad very much, but I've noticed that I use F keys a lot while browsing and navigation keys for pretty much everything else.
My ideal layout would hence be a 75%, however it's a bit tricky to find the right keyboard for me.
Brown or similar switches are fine, I'd love to stick with cherry but it's pratty much impossible to find any at a decent pricepoint, what are good alternatives? I've heard gaterons are quite decent, what are other good brands?
Speaking of pricepoint, price should be 100€ maximu, I can go a bit above that if the keyboard is really perfect for my needs but less is better.
Also, I need backlight, white or RGB.
My understanding is that 75% is a relatively young layout, so there isn't much choice on the market yet, and it's definitely true compared to 60 and 65% which are plentyful, even from famous brands like Cooler Master etc.
To complicate things, I'm italian. I've tried typing with an US layout but it's a nightmare, stuff that's relativaly common like " c'č " is a PAIN to write with US layout.
I could change layout in windows, but I'd rather at least have an ISO DE layout which is quite similar to the IT one, but the choice of models is minimal.
The only prebuild I've found so far is the Keychron V2, and even that one is super hard to find in Europe, and the only place that has it in stock is quite overpriced

I'm also not super convinced by the model, it has features I don't need like wireless connectivity and stuff that's a bit awkward like the USB cable on the left side.
What's the minimum I should spend for a decent custom? Mind again that I don't need anything super fancy with premium materials etc, I just need a working 75% mech with ISO, tactile and W/RGB backlight.
Also where should I buy it living in Italy? It's super confusing to find stuff for custom boards
