Methinks someone missed a period, so "110.00" becomes "11000" becomes "$11,000.00"

Doesn't ebay's pricing ding you for a sky high BIN price?

There was a dude trying to sell the domain explorer.net for years.  He listed it for $20-100k so many times he probably spent a couple $k on listings alone.  I stopped looking at their pricing structure now, it puts me in a bad mood.  Just like gas prices, I don't even look I just pump.

Genuine TG3 (foreground) and XArmor (background) illuminated keyboards don't have that Deck font problem.

I think ebay has become quite ****ty anyway. Those golden days where you could really get a good deal once in a while are way over.

What is impossible to prove is if you just push the price up through a friend/2nd/3rd/20th account with another IP. Of course if you push too high, no one may buy it but then you could stil lsell it somewhere on the street. But I think pretty much everyone on ebay does that.

btw.: I was wrong, those decks didn't sell for 45-55, one sold for 66$ and the other one for 55 or sth.

So my new used Deck Toxic USB KBA-82BL has a mere 2-key rollover without any doubt, same as the TG3-82BL PS/2 popo board I got for 1/3 the price. Tested on the Microsoft test as well as a cached version of the the traditional test, which isn't accessible to me today.

Has there been a revision of the Deck 82 from 2-key to the claimed 6-key?

The only other significant differences are
  • Deck has an OS key (AKA Win/command key) versus the TG3 Pause/Break
  • Deck font versus TG3 font. Controversial for many. I find the Deck font really pops, as in IT FEELS LIKE THE DECK IS SHOUTING AT ME, as in it's harder to read, because the letters are so large compared to the key top, as compared to the smaller font on all the other keyboards I own.
  • Deck feels just like my non-popo Cherry blacks. TG3 popo blood spatter shield adds significant force required to press those Cherry blacks.
  • Deck unit is significantly lighter weight than the TG3 unit. Steel plate in TG3 versus aluminum in Deck is my guess (until i actually disassemble...)
  • Deck has a LED in the USB plug. In case you have to unplug in the dark, apparently
  • Deck Toxic CAPSLOCK LED is blue, TG3 is green

I was always suspecting that the Toxic had the same rollover issue as Gold and Fire. Otherwise why would they have taken it out, too, and only continued to produce the Ice?

I am kind acurious wether the Ices from ActiveKey are actually 6key rollover or not.... I am positive that all the stuff from ActiveKey is a few years old and certainly not "new revision" stuff. So now that the Toxic has the same rollover issue as Fire and Gold and wasn't mentioned by Adam (Deckguy), I would have to assume that the old revision Ice has the same issue. I am still in contact with ActiveKey, let's see if I get my hands on the Ice, I will test and post somewhere on the forum.

Yeah but when did he buy his Ice? I suspect if the Toxic has the same problem as Fire and Gold, then the old revision Ice may have it as well. I will probably get one from ActiveKey next week (most definitely old revision), will test and post here.

/Edit

see here

Seems Adam originally forgot to mention that old revision toxic (and ice?) have the same problems...
