Gratz, very nicely done.
My first modification (1903) was with Complicated White ALPS, unfortunately, I also exchanged the Function row before I realized they were slightly different, but that's how the cookie crumbled.
My second modification (1948) was with Complicated Black ALPS butchered from a NIB WANG 724. This time I kept the Yellow XMs on the Function row. The two "Control" key-caps have been replaced with the red Double-Shots from a Focus 2001.
My third SIIG MiniTouch 1903 NIB is not modified in any way as it is One with Monterey switches.
In the beginning, I thought the White ALPS was the way to go, but at present I mainly use the Black ALPS (the human heart is fickle, my preference may change) only because I like the Montereys so much that I hesitate to type with it for fear of any damage/dirt may occur (so it's still NIB). Maybe one day I'll purchase a display cabinet, or maybe I'll have enough courage to enjoy my One more than just viewing.
May have mentioned previously that I strongly believe that the Monterey switch is more refined/better than other ALPS, but that's just my personal opinion and I could be w*ong, you know about people from the Central Kingdom.
PS: If only there are some transparent key-caps compatible with this KBD, then it would be even better.
