I'd buy a filco with fukkas too. The goals is to find something tenkeyless that feels like a Northgate.
Creative Vision, the company that still builds Northgate-alikes,
uses fukkas (type I simplified ALPS) according to someone on this thread.
The Minitouch with the XM switches (type II simplifieds) did
NOT
feel like a Northy.
