1. DETAILS
Hello I'm Rik - here is the Rikia. Rikia is an Alice style (compatible with existing USB-C Alice PCBs and plates) board designed at the request of a good friend to soothe the pain from a certain failed groupbuy he bought into. The board is top mount and consists of a PC top with either copper or aluminum bottom.

Copper (and all metal) prices have risen exorbitantly in the past two years. I designed this board as an homage to the Alice based on the preferences of a friend expecting to pay insane prices for his own vision. It was not designed to be produced efficiently or economically.

Kneedeep will be doing 10 one-off custom patina editions! They will be raffled during the normal GB raffle and you'll have the option to enter for a knee edition ONLY, standard only or both.

2. CURRENT STATUS

I've ordered and shipped 17 of these. I am 100% confident in the design and board. Knee and Aerysten both have sound tests and I have a few more coming before the GB date so you have lots of info to decide if this is for you!

What's included?
Top and Bottom Case: Copper or Alu Bottom with PC tops (Aluminum top TBD)
Plate: One Plate (Aluminum, Copper, Carbon Fiber, Brass, POM, FR4)
PCB: Mechlovin Alice USB-C
Wrist Rest: PC and copper or aluminum weighted matching wrist rest

Pricing:

100 Units across all configs - Price includes plate/PCB/Carrying Case!
As mentioned before if there is somehow overwhelming demand there will be a significant price break especially on the copper units. Koi raffle will go live 9/23 and be open for 48h

Alu Top/Alu Bottom - $500
PC Top/Alu Bottom - $540
Alu Top/Brass Bottom - $675
Alu Top/Copper Bottom - $1150
PC Top/Copper Bottom - $1200

If there was I wouldn't be able to confirm it

i got Vietnam flashbacks when i opened this thread. personally, i would have liked PC top and brass bottom due to the price of copper.

good luck with the group buy. hopefully everything turns out well. if this actually ships and it turns out ok, i'll try to pick one up second hand. no more GBs for me

You can definitely pick PC top and brass bottom I just didn't price out every single combination when I did pricing. It will be slightly more than the alu top but it's definitely available.
