I'm still waiting for the Other Mechanical Gigabyte Keyboard to come out, the GIGABYTE GK-K8000. Has far more useful features but never really released to mainstream due to problems that never got resolved.

The GIGABYTE GK-K8000 looked great, but is gone, out of production.

They told me at Computex that this one may have wasd as mechanical but not fully.  I still want to see it :)

Wow, pretty ugly to be honest!

The last Gigabyte mechanical keyboard had some pretty nifty features but too bad they were plagued with production problems :(

That keyboard got me interested in mechanical keyboards though.. so must thank Gigabyte somehow..

Hi, this is the my first post in geekhack

Then there will be many articles to share from my blog. (Ducky, Tt eSPORTS mechanical, i-rocks etc.)

It's the membrane keyboard(rubber dome). not scissor-switch, not mechanical switch.

and

the 20 keys can press under USB, not PS/2

it only have the USB port.

would of been nice if Gigabyte illuminated the volume bar icons instead of having separate status indicators on the right side.

Please keep posting.  Great info.

Do you think this Lasered Cherry Key from a G86-62410 could have been done using that method you posted earlier - lasering special black plastic that turns white?  Or is this infilled then somehow leveled with the rest of the key?

So far white in black keycap(Not included backlight KB) used 2 way: Ink or laser

if it used laser, just used the technology my posted.

I knows this from some Keyboard foundrys.

The White produce only from the black heated.

In other words, when the original black be heated by laser, producing the white.
