According to the discord, it doesn't sound like it will be running anytime soon (thanks Mechs & Co!). The last sorta update was in July and it sounds like there are issues with the market being down compared to when this set was originally going to run. You might be able to mix and match something similar with sets like GMK Arch, GMK Terror Below, GMK Aurora Polaris, and/or GMK Wasabi.

Same!  I just got into mechanical keyboards and custom keycaps 2024.  I was scrambling to get a couple of past cool old keycap sets, and then I saw this Davy Jones thread, and love the design!!!  This set really needs to be brought up from the deep.

While the original run was a disaster (  Thanks to Mechs and Co ) , we are planning to revisit this in the next months with some fresh ideas ( looking into some new materials as well) and kitting.
To be honest, this is one of the most detailed work we have done and it would be a shame not to retry a GB.

AWESOME!!!  ...hoping you keep it GMK, all doubleshot (no dyes), Cherry.  Love your intricate doubleshot work on this!

If you're open to suggestions, it would be cool to have the following:

• R4: a red-letter 2.25 Shift key that reads Port (along with the upward arrow), and a green-letter 2.75 Shift key that reads Starboard (along with the upward arrow).  Something like that
• R4: More 1.25 novelty keys, such as duplicate red versions of the cannons.
  
• R4: a unique 1.25 that looks like that R3 kraken/octopus, to be used as an "fn" key.
• R1: a standard width key to indicate "Home", such as a little island with a palm tree, or a tiny cape-code cottage, something to indicate land.  ...and to appose the Mermaid key (used as the "End" key, because choosing the mermaid over "Home/Land" is the End).
• R1: Red-letter F1-F4, White-letter F5-F8, Green-letter F9-F12, novelty/add-on keys (to follow the naval port=red & starboard=green).

Current plans are with GMK. So Cherry and doubleshot is the way forward here. We are also working closely with GMK on some new colors.

Regarding Kitting : Since this is very old, I would revamp the kitting completely. We will also have to reevaluate if the red accent novelties kit has a market.

This set is amazing in general, but the red accent was what made me want the entire thing, $500 be damned.  Please don't drop it!

Ofcourse, we dont want to just "'drop it". When we redo the IC, we would keep the red accents as options and check the interest there!
Personally, I want to red accents as well since it creates a darker story compared to base and the colors pop quite well.
