Omg G80-1800 Cherry brown!
« on: Sat, 09 October 2010, 11:25:23 »
http://cgi.ebay.com/COMPAQ-MX1800-PS-2-KEYBOARD-SPACE-SAVER-cherry-IBM-/290483483952?pt=PCA_Mice_Trackballs&hash=item43a22a3530#ht_5545wt_934

1 day left.  That's fricken hot!! I think they are doubleshot whites (could be wrong)

The last g80-1800 that was available on ebay was like months and months ago, I snapped it up and sold that one to itlnstln.

I think didj sold one of these keyboards before (it was missing a control key).  This keyboard is sexy.

It's like the mx11800 without trackpad and numpad in the right place :)

ALWAYS looking for cool and interesting switches
I take requests for making keyboard converters (i.e. *old keyboard* to USB).

If you pay close attention you will see that this is the exact same board, lacking the left control key. The guy has snatched it and replaced it with a lasered one.

Omg you're right.  Did NCbound buy this keyboard to begin with from didj then add a cap from another keyboard then re-sell it?  Boggle.

EDIT Wait a minute I think Didj's keyboard was missing the right shift button, not the left control...

There were two of these from the same seller sometime back @ 50 BIN. I snagged the better listed condition ("excellent") of the two, and it had some scratches here and there on the casing and keycaps that were not immediately obvious from the pictures. Wasn't a big deal on the whole, just something to be possibly aware of. These are doubleshot. Easiest keyboard to disassemble that I've encountered so far, too.

I deeply regret selling that keyboard.  Doubleshots on PCB mounted Browns rock.

Shot to $112 last minute.  Definitely worth it, even with a lasered cap or two IMO.

Oy. I guess I got a relative bargain on my three doubleshot keyboards, even though I thought I paid too much for at least one of them..

Damn, showed up too late on this one.  That's OK, though, I already have one (in black).

Damn, white double shots are good enough to risk buying from NCBOUND again.

Anyone have white double shots for trade for black double shots? I have a light-color dye job on hold.
I trolled Geekhack and all I got was an eponymous SPOS.
