Finally - not goodkeyless anymore
« on: Sat, 09 October 2010, 12:23:48 »
My days of rubberdoming are over.

That is to say, I received my Filco with brown switches and swedish layout!
Together with my upgrade to core i7 cpu, it works nicely with my linux system.

I was worried that I wouldn't like the browns, and I spent a good deal of time researching on the net about it, since I had no opportunity to test any for real.

But it feels good :)

I'd post a pic, but Filco shots don't impress anyone anymore...

Now to get that rocking doubleshot keyset from that other keyboard community ;)

Thanks - maybe I'll get some blues too, just to compare...

Lol at the Tamron? Their macro lenses are excellent :)

Already? I was pestering them for availability date all summer. I saw on their site that they were available for delivery for the 17:th of september, then I ordered right away. Got it on the 19:th :) Must have sold out pretty much immediately.

I should have been a good geekhacker and post when they became available, but I forgot :/

Christmas is fast approaching.  Elitekeyboards and KeyboardCo better stock up or you will be getting frogs for Xmas.  Last year Elite went pretty empty until January/Feb.
eww.. hair in my pic

Was there any scene you couldn't Lego? :P
