Build my first custom keyboard
« on: Fri, 23 June 2023, 12:24:56 »
Hello everyone,

Some time ago i introduced myself and i said i ordered some parts to build my first custom keyboard.
Well today is that day  :cool:

Here is a list with the parts and mods wich i´ve used.
* Epomaker TH66 pro kit
* Durock V2 stabilizers, i´ve taken these apart and added lube and some shrink pads around the irons.
* Gateron milky yellow pro switches wich are pre lubed, i had to cut out a part of the bottom from 1 switch because the LED from the 2nd key is higher than the other ones, else it wouldn´t fit.
* keycaps are PBT caps from tai hao
* i´ve removed the factory foam pad in the bottom of the case and replaced it for thicker foam from Silverstone
* tape mod, 1 layer

i must say it is a very nice experience typing on this keyboard, it sounds very THOCCY wich i find satisfying.

If you guys have some questions or comments please let me know.
