Being awesomely busy as usual (3 interviews today, plus getting ready for midterms, and a few lab reports to do), I decided to check one of my favourite spots for old keyboards (i.e. dumpster diving without the dumpster, just in a hidden corner somewhere on a bunch of tables).

Last time I looked, I found 2 Keytronics. Which well, are crap, but I took them anyways because they were in relatively good condition.

This time however, I came back with 6 keyboards:


Sun Type 5C (N860-8703-T001)

Nothing special here, rubber dome...next!


Acer 6511-T

I'm 95% sure it's a rubber dome, but I don't have time to open them up for at least 2 weeks.
Oh, awesome Chinese lettering...why the hell is that here! Oh wait, I can answer that...




BTC FT7000 x2


Picked up 2 of these, damn the lettering is worn off. Nice Alt keys though...wait, Cherry compatible?




IBM 71G4644 Model M
Oh look, an IBM Rubber dome made by Lexmark...woo...




NEC APC-H410E


Ooo, WordPerfect shortcuts, how...useful.

Now this was completely unexpected. NEC Sliders!

Oh! And doubleshots :biggrin:


In a few weeks, I'll take them apart and clean them. More pics then!

Did you know that that Logitech C7 is the very original mouse they made? It dates back all the way to 1986!

Interesting, didn't know that. Maybe I'll keep the mouse now :D, as a little piece of history.
