Hi ..
I'm new fan of Mechanocal keyboard...
Just by a Keychron K8 pro, very good keyboard
and as first build from scrach I bcompete a:
Neo80 Keyboard Kit + JTK HSA Keycaps + Holy Panda switch lubed by me.

Welcome to Geekhack :)

Yeah for a starter keyboard, can't really go wrong with their hotswap boards, great introductions into the hobby and they are good for experimentation and tinkering as well.
