I'm sure I'm not alone in appreciating particularly heavy keyboards.

What are the heaviest keyboards you have or know of? Post them!

Mine is this Viatrion keyboard from 1969 weighing in at 21lbs (9.5kg)

Inside the steel shell is a giant metal block containing the light channels it uses for sensing

Not quite on the same level as yours but here's mine, this weighed in around 10 lbs 9 oz (4.8kg) at a meetup and won me an award for the heaviest board there that day. Most of the case is 7075 aluminum but the bottom half has a big brass weight, and the plate is brass as well.

I have to admit, I am a fan of heavy boards... I even added tire balancing weights inside my Neo65 to bump up the weight.  I believe my 9lb F77 is the heaviest, but I have a copper-bottomed Smith + Rune 165 CE showing up by the end of the year that may give it a run for the money, especially when paired with the matching copper-bottomed key pad.   I suppose there is something special about a board that is naturally heavy vs. screwing on weights to make it feel heavy.

It is just called the "Southpaw Fullsize" from Switchplate Peripherals. I actually have another one that I'm trying to sell, feel free to send me a message if you are interested
