GMK TELEX/Việt Add-on
A simple add-on kit, to be used with a beige set for Vietnamese support.

I wanted to run this set because I haven't seen a good Vietnamese set yet, and I don't think there was a nice add-on kit before despite how big the Vietnamese MK community is.


Kitting




Colors
This will be using stock GMK colors, L9 base and CR legends
This will also be doubleshot, besides the tulip-esque key and the two characters with front facing print

Vendors and Pricing
TBD, just looking for interest and feedback for now

Other notes
- Not planning for this to become a full base kit because we have enough beige and WOB floating around.
- Tulip-esque key, and bracket keys with front facing legends will be UV printed.
- I know it's missing a scooped F and J key. Will correct it as soon as I can.
- Bottom row key novelties are NOT finalized, but they will be of a lotus and will be pink!

Definitely interested and likely only in GMK. Would be great if novelties could be considered in R5 as well considering how many sets there are now with it (9009 R3, Classic Beige, KA1953, Hineybeige, etc)

Definitely interested and likely only in GMK. Would be great if novelties could be considered in R5 as well considering how many sets there are now with it (9009 R3, Classic Beige, KA1953, Hineybeige, etc)

Exactly what I was thinking. More layouts and language support is good. Also, if someone were to design a set with Viet as an intentional choice because of those, I think that would be lovely

Can't speak or type Vietnamese, but I see a Tulipesqe key & that means I must buy! Seriously though awesome work as you are correct I don't think there ever has been a GMK set featuring keys for Vietnamese, GL with IC!

Now that I looked at this closer,

The novs are 1u and 1.25u, and given people’s preferences, either adding 1.5u or switching 1.25u to 1.5u might make more sense.

I’d get two sets and then see if I can’t track down Bear from prime 2020 MGB to give alphas

Good eye, I had just assumed they were 1.5u & 1u keys. OP I second this, adding 2 - 1.5u modifiers would definitely help push this through to reality.

I know the novelty key isn't finalized, but right now it looks like it's two different shades of pink? If it were just one, it could be doubleshot; as it is, it'd need to be UV printed.
