The variety of stuff is pretty cool, and the hhkbs as well. I really like mine. I've mostly stuck to cherry though, pretty hard to beat good modded cherries. GMK skeletor also a good pick, a classic set.

Indeed. I had two Cherries; nixies and the silent reds. Somehow, I didn't like the silent reds but they were soldered on Leopold I had in the past. You were able to hear a deep vibration sound each time you press. Probably both the plate and the switch were causing the vibration but I sold it sometime later and didn't get any Cherry 'till nixies.

And I love the form factor of HHKB. I still believe it has the best layout ever designed. My 40% addiction is coming from HHKB's great layout as well (I know HHKB is 60% but I am more into the layout). And HHKB is also kind of indestructible. You buy once and that's it.
