My minila air keyboard is not working well now
« on: Thu, 25 July 2024, 05:41:34 »
I got it in 2018 and have been using it for nearly 6 or 7 years. I really like it cause it is Bluetooth and very compact with arrow keys. The only problem is that a couple of months ago, the disconnection problem happened too many times. Sometimes when I was still typing, it suddenly disconnected and repeat the last letter like "thissssssssssssssssssssssssss". I am wondering if it is just kind of reaching its limits of the switches or reaching some kind of other limit. Or if anyone else has got this problem and fix it in some way? By the way, I am using MacOS 14 with Karabiner software to make the minila match MacOS keys. I really have no idea about what's going on and if this can be fixed.

I was thinking about just sending it to the customer service and letting them check on it. But I bought it in China and I am working in UK right now. So I don't know where I should send it.
I do think that I should buy a new keyboard. But the new minila -r has no arrow keys, and the Xacro seems has no bluetooth, which doesn't meet my needs.

Could it be something like the minila air has a 3.0 Bluetooth and it is too out-of-date to the new operating system?
