Name that keyboard
« on: Wed, 27 October 2010, 14:51:55 »
I had a look for a generic "What's this keyboard model?" thread but couldn't find  one. Apologies if it's right in front of me and I missed it.

So, can anyone identify this for me? I'm told it's a Cherry, but beyond that, no idea. I could do with a diddy little keyboard, but don't want to get one that will just be miserable to type on.
Habitually, a '93 Model M that I've lovingly coaxed back to life with help and parts provided by the lovely people here.

When the desk is heaving with junk, I have to switch down to one of those tiny little Cherry keyboards. I use it until having no numpad is inconvenient enough to make me tidy up :)

Yup. I've got two of these. Layout is pretty good except for the horrible cursor placement. Definitely NOT cherries, though; the key caps look similar but the mechanism is some sort of stiff plunger on rubber dome. Keyfeel sucks.
