HHKB Pro Hybrid USB port replacement possible?

Hello! I have been using my HHKB for two years and one day it just stopped working - I have a feeling moisture got into the usb port as it was smelling like burnt plastic and had visible corrosion/black stuff on it. Needless to say I'm devastated

All the repair places I've asked have said they can't help Does anyone have any information about where I could get a replacement usb port of the correct type/compatibility? I have had a look at a few component seller sites but I don't have the knowledge to identify if one will fit. I thought perhaps I could just replace the whole bottom board if those are able to be purchased.

If anyone has any info about where to get components or what to do in this case I'd be super grateful for any help.

You can purchase a replacement PCB which would be easier than soldering on new port (assuming that's the root issue). You'll also get the added benefit of Bluetooth 5.0 LE.
