Steelseries Shift keyboard ?
« on: Thu, 28 October 2010, 12:19:38 »
I did a search but didn't find any threads about it.

Anyway i was reading a review and it mentioned some feature to customize the fonts o_O;

Is the shift a mechanical keyboard ? Also any thoughts about the customizable key fonts ?

It's a rubber dome as you can clearly see on their product page and when they take the key set off.
Current Keyboard: Filco Majestouch 104 Browns (FKBN104M/EB)

Current Mice: Steelseries Xai (1400cc//800cc) on Steelseries 9HD.

Anyone want to donate me a keycap remover? <3

I have tried it already, it has somewhat nice rubber dome and the product page said that it's more durable than treditional rubber dome too.

It has on-the-fly macros, media keys, all of those good stuffs (except LEDs). But I think the macro keys are a little awkward to press. The keyboard itself has a pretty solid build.

The keyset are changable for specific games like the older Zboard with nice improvments, maybe the only board from SteelSeries that have macro capability :)

black domes FTW lol!

software-wise, in the vid above they said that the software of the keyboard can even suggest you to remap the keys! My crappy Lycosa now looking so dumb!
