Filco MJ2 modification/ cases!

Hey,

As of recenetly ive had multiple mj2s, and I'm not too sure of what aftermarket cases there are for them. The only one I know of is the ali express one which I'm not the biggest fan of. If you all know about any, please tell me where to get them. Really love these mj2s.

I think because they are clearing them out but Mechincal Keyboards is sell Filco KOBO frames (frame only) for about $50~70 right now... not sure whatever they have in stock but you could take a look if to see if it is anything you are interested in..

The only real after market case I have seen online for quite sometime is some aluminum one that you can find on aliexpress for about $130~... Like you, Personally I don't think they look all that great and prefer my stock Filco case to be honest.

The keyboard market has changed a lot and it seems like most of the Filco modding stuff is not really available anymore as people are buying other keyboards these days.    I love my Filco and it is bomb proof but for a mechanical keyboard modding enthusiasts they don't make sense these days one would have to admit?

Regardless, I am still using my MT2 TKL (reds) daily since 2014 now... I modded mine with a pig tail in order to make it easier to unplug to move it off my desk and swap keyboards (when I rarely actually switch).
