With this set having no customer facing MoQ according to comments by dvorcol, it might be worth clarifying to the broader community that that is what "No MoQs" means in this instance - that there is still an underlying MoQ with GMK that the designer + vendors are covering?
Worth clarifying IMO as some people may see this set as "setting a prescident" in a number of ways - which may cause unnecessary questions and anomicity for future designers and vendors.
Thanks for your comment. The goal of not indicating the MOQ is not to obfuscate the data, but to simply indicate its irrelevance at this time. Based on the performance of the group buy so far, we can say that with vendor extras, we will hit MOQs and the set is not in jeopardy. So rather than spark uncertainty about which kits will make it or not, we decided to just focus on the current number of kits ordered at this time. In hindsight, perhaps it would have made more sense to only display these graphs after the group buy period closed.
Regardless, I’ve always appreciated Dvorcol’s commitment to gathering, designing, and sharing these graphs, and my hope is that these graphs will help inform future designs and group buys.
