help picking out a mechanical keyboard
« on: Mon, 01 November 2010, 21:08:51 »
im looking for a brown, clear or blue switch mechanical keyboard, mostly brown though since its quieter.

i need a arm rest and would prefer backlighting but due to there not being many backlighting keyboards it kind of kills me getting one.

so heres my choices,

1. Das Professional Model S Silent + 3M Gel Wrist Rest
however  i dont really like the gloss finish or the design.
$153

2. Xarmor U9BL
i hear this keyboard isnt the best quality, and the keys are rubber coated, and they'll mess up fast.
$130+ shipping

3. Filco Majestouch Tenkeyless + 3-star Handmade Leather Palm Rest
i really like this set however price is really high and over the decks price.
Price: $193+ shipping

4. Deck Legend Ice Tactile + 3M Gel Wrist Rest
ive been reading that these leds are ment to last 20+ years, but i keep reading where people posted saying the leds died only after a year.
Price: $187+ shipping

so if you could let me know pro's and con's on these or just what you would buy, it would be appreciated. thanks.
