Opinions on a keyboard market value thread.

I am thinking about maintaining a thread just to chart the price range common and uncommon keyboards are going for. I think it would also be a good way to prevent reposting of keyboards that no one is really interested in. while I can personally think of a few negative effects the thread could have I am wondering what other forum members think.

I'd pay $1.49999999971 for a Pentium 60

I think this is a bad idea. Market value fluctuates considerably in niche hobbies such as this, and it can be very hard to pin down value on a rare item.

eBay is always a good tool.

I wouldn't mind one myself.  I have a framed display of x86 CPUs I've decomissioned, but there are a few holes I still need to fill.  A socket 4 CPU being one, along with an Am5x86/486DX5, and a Slot A K7.

I'd be VERY interested to hear/see how you did that display. I have about 20 old CPUs, mostly socket 7 and socket 370 that I would like to put on display.

Cheers

Well all jokes aside my main concern would be how keeping track could affect the value of things.  while the price of a model m tenkeyless seems to hover around 200, tracking the sale of each one could cause the price to fall or rise.  I wonder if noting the prices of other, less known keyboards could cause them to rise.  if I actually do this I would keep the first post updated, but I am sure certain items would evade me unless I get some forum help.
