Quick Preview of Zoom TKL Dyna

The Ultraman Dream
To be the warrior of light.

A lot of people's childhood in the 1980s and 1990s were influenced by Animes and TV series, and "Ultraman" is one of the most influencial. Boys dreamt about being Ultraman and saving the planet. Ultraman was a part of life  and for some people, in their dreams too

Growing up, we are Ultraman where we work and the warriors for the dreams we have and for the people we love.

And as our designer has said, "In some silent midnights, when sitting in front of my computer, I imagine I can arm myself with a shining keyboard, just like a warrior of light" . Thus, the idea of Dyna was born.

The Dyna Keyboard Design

The Elegent Lighting Concept

It's our 2nd board after Zoom 75 Tiga; we wanted it to be a TKL and it needed to shine elegently and mysteriously.
However, we had encountered a lot of issues when we tried to implement this some of our ideas into the design.

We spent 2 months designing and testing a different side lighting, but unfortunately it turned out to be too complicated and didn't quite match the original design language. In the end, we went with underglow inspired by runway lights.

We used a diamond shaped lighting on the top case to echo the grille weight (inherited from Zoom75 Tiga) on the bottom case.

Dynamic Forms - 4 "transferable" modulars

The Ultraman's name "Dyna" means "Dynamic", it has three forms: "Flash", "Miracle", "Strong". The "Flash" Type has a balance of strength and speed, the "Miracle" Type has outstanding speed and superpowers, and the "Strong" Type has great strength and is good at hand-to-hand combat. And the Zoom TKL Dyna has four modulars for different usage scenarios.

Soild Build Quality
Finish Treatment
220 mesh anodization

The highest smoothest level on aluminium CNC finished treatment technology, makes the cool metal surface feels as smooth as silk.

Acustatic coating

Already aplied on Zoom75 Tiga, this cutting-edge electrostatic spray technology has already proven to deliver superior consistency and smoothness as e-coating and also deliver more vibrant colors that typical e-coating cannot achieve.

Comfortability

Ergonomic Frame Refinement
To achieve exceptional user comfort, we completely re-engineered the frame geometry through meticulous optimization. The chassis now features a precision-chamfered R2 radius edge, finalized after 21 iterations of progressive refinement (R0.5-R3) across seven days of ergonomic testing. This human-centric design elevates your tactile interactions - keystrokes now flow seamlessly across surfaces with the natural fluidity of polished armor, combining protective solidity with palm-contouring comfort.

Structural Tension Design :
We engineered a striking 40° angular transition in the baseplate's rear section, complementing the organic geometry on the top. The rounded lines taper sharply towards the bottom and viewed from the side, the narrow profile creates thinner sides and more pronounced layers.

Typing Feel

The design of DYNA fully carries forward the advantages of TIGA, ensuring optimal performance in both sound and tactile feedback to meet the preferences of different users. You're able to choose from different mouting systems to enable you to achieve the typing feel you prefer.

4 Mounting Systems: Top Mounting,Split O-Ring Mounting,Elastic Bar Silicone Mounting,Silica Gel Particle Mounting

Top Mounting
A classic for stability and tactility.

Split O-Ring Mounting
Adds bounce and flexibility for a softer typing experience.

Elastic Bar Silicone Mounting
A next-gen solution offering balance between rigidity and elasticity.

Silica Gel Particle Mounting
Helps achieve a muted, cushioned typing feel.

The Typing Sound
3 Foam Options for Customs Sound

1. Soft – Poron Foam
Poron foam is renowned for its subtlety and durability, seamlessly blending muted acoustics with long-lasting performance. Its exceptional fatigue resistance guarantees consistent sound quality over the years, making it an ideal choice for shared workspaces or offices. Additionally, the sleek dark hue further enhances the aesthetic appeal of your setup.

2. Crisp – Cork Sandwich
Crisp - Cork Sandwich: We are excited to introduce the innovative “cork sandwich” , designed specifically for those who prefer a board that eschews traditional foam. This cork layer delivers a crisper sound, providing a distinctive typing experience unlike anything else on the market.

3. Standard – Classic Foam
Classic Foam evolves in character over time, beginning with a bright tone that gradually mellows with use. It delivers a nostalgic typing experience that becomes uniquely personal as you continue to type more frequently.

Build Experience
Screwless Quick Assembly Structure
Zoom TKL DYNA adopts screwless quick assembly structure, using the ball catch system, Can be quickly and easily disassembled and assembled.

8K PCB
8K Polling Rate – Elite Responsiveness
DYNA adopts an 8K polling rate this time, with extremely low latency, measured at just 0.6ms (tested), ensuring a better gaming experience in FPS games. In the future, we will also launch a magnetic switch edition in collaboration with Star Flash, bringing the latest magnetic switch solution.

Gorgeous! Has almost everything I'd want too: knob, screen, TKL, not WKL, F13, lighting...

The ONLY thing I don't see--and arguably one of the most important for me--is per-key lighting or just backlighting in general. Does the PCB allow for the addition of LEDs, if not already built in? Bonus points for programmable RGB :D
