Hello everyone, I'm Charles.
I've been into custom keyboards for over five years now, but since last year, I started feeling a bit bored with it. That's when I got into the world of EC Hobby.
Honestly, it's reignited the same excitement I felt when I first started keyboard hobby.
There aren't many tutorials or reviews out there—most of the learning comes from discussions and hands-on experimentation. But that's exactly what makes it so refreshing for me.
Getting to the point, last year I became pretty obsessed with EC keyboards, especially the HHKB Hybrid Type-S (Snow edition).
I love its bouncy yet firm feel, which is very different from the stiff domes of the Pro 2.
However, sourcing a full set of Hybrid Type-S domes is extremely difficult and expensive.
Luckily, I have a friend who specializes in silicone molding, so I decided to create my own EC dome molds,
taking inspiration from the Hybrid Type-S's feel.
After a year of revisions and prototyping, I finally succeeded.
Dome Styles & ColorsPrototyping & ProductionOnce I was satisfied with the prototypes, I sent samples to Hannn and other EC keyboard enthusiasts for testing.
The feedback was surprisingly positive, so I moved forward with mass production.
Since I wasn't sure how well they'd sell, I kept the initial batch small.

The latest production run includes two variants:
Red Domes (45g) – Similar to the HHKB Hybrid Type-S snow.
Gray Domes (55g) – Heavier than 45g but optimized to avoid the harshness of the Pro 2.
I've already sent out the latest batch to various reviewers and enthusiasts for testing.
Expect feedback, photos, and videos to start rolling in after May 1st. A huge thanks to everyone helping with the testing!
Specs & Sales Details (Tentative)Dome Weights: 45g / 55g (35g version coming later).
Packaging:23pcs / 69pcs / 88pcs
Dome Sizes:Each weight comes in 4 sizes (4u/3u/2u/1u).
Most third-party domes (like Deskeys or KLC) only come in 4u, forcing users to cut them for smaller (e.g., spacebar, backspace).
I wanted to make things more convenient for users—even if it means more work for me in packaging lol.
Pricing:23pcs: $6.5
69pcs: $19.5
88pcs: $25
My goal isn't to make a profit from EC parts—I'm just a small-time enthusiast. The price is only 1/4 of Deskeys ,
offering great quality at a much lower cost, so more EC fans can enjoy customizing their boards without breaking the bank.
