Very classic & clean design OP, I definitely dig it! The only thing I'd like to see is some internal weights to tighten up the sound some. Wouldn't even mind zinc weights to just add some extra mass to help dull out the higher pitches while still keeping the price reasonable at your 50 MOQ.

Very nice. Will the 6u spacebar support be center, off-center or both?

this was originally designed for my friends and relatives who wanted a custom keyboard that wasn't too heavy to bring around to-and-from the office, so I thought adding weights would kinda defeat that purpose. perhaps I could add some replaceable aluminium 'weights' and provide brass/stainless steel weights as optional extras

Ah, I see. I figured there must've been a reason you didn't have a weight designed into this. I'd be more than happy with having replaceable alum weights stock & denser material weights being add ons. Although since you have a prototype ordered already we'll get a chance to see how it sounds as it is designed right now. Never know it might be just fine as is without weights?

that'll be the first litmus test for sure, hoping for it to sound close to a cypher because that board sounds great without weights too

I really like this. I would like to see 1.5-1.5-7-1.5-1.5 bottom row compatibility.

if it doesn't make the bottom row too much of a swiss cheese, I'll request the PCB designer to look into adding this :thumb:

Any chance of adding a 2u key on the bottom row of the numpad for those keysets that don't have a 1u zero key?

currently speaking with the PCB designer on this, shouldn't be too difficult to add. I'll provide an update here if that happens  :thumb:
