This looks nice! Will this be an instock product? I'm guessing the IC responses will decide that but instock would be amazing for this

I am a fan of PBS, but is that the best black they can do? Looks more like PBS White on Very Dark Navy

CR in the comparison pic is a GMK CYL sample cap and thus ABS?

My kingdom for PBS kits to offer HUNT homing keys either as part of base kits too, or as a standalone kit. Having to buy Base + 40s just for 4 keys stinks.

Happy to see this happening! Would like to see a second B for Alice/split boards. Thanks!

We'll definitely take this into consideration! Usually there is a pretty big intersection between 40s/ortho and alternate layouts (Colemak, Dvorak, etc.) - so we usually put the alternate homing there.
We have to be careful on this one since all the keys are reverse dyesub, adding 4 homing keys requires us to add a non-homing F and J as well - so we'd have to add 6 more keys to the base, and since it's reverse dyesub, that'll add more cost than on a normal dyesub kit.

I wonder if some sort of middle ground option like 4 blanks (2 homing, 2 non-homing) could also work?

This looks nice! Will this be an instock product? I'm guessing the IC responses will decide that but instock would be amazing for this

This will likely be a group buy. Since the keyset is entirely reverse dyesub, we think offering it at a lower GB price first is the way to go.

That's why we included the sample cap. I think it's pretty black, but it's not going to match a doubleshot ABS black cap.

Yep, this is correct.

Happy to see this happening! Would like to see a second B for Alice/split boards. Thanks!

This will definitely make it into the base kit - just an oversight on the IC! It has the split bars for Alice already!

My kingdom for PBS kits to offer HUNT homing keys either as part of base kits too, (4) or as a standalone kit. Having to buy Base + 40s just for 4 keys stinks.

(1) Dvorak was patented in 1936 and remains one of the most popular alt layouts. Since alt layout usage pre-dates the birth of the Ergo/Ortho/40s community and sales of TKL Base kits are still at least on par with those of 40s/Ortho Base kits, it makes sense for Full Base to have alt layout support.

(2) Yes, non-homing F & J are critical for uniform-profile sets. (Sculpted-profile Colevrak+, however, doesn't need them because none of its supported layouts have F or J on the home row.)

(3) 4-key support is infinitely better than no support at all. But I recommend F & J legends on the non-homing keys because a blank home key will always replace one of those two letters.

(4) You might be able to increase interest in a stand-alone homing kit by adding super-homing coverage for all layouts including QWERTY:

Why are the H U N T home keys scooped rather than barred? Asking because the kit pictures make barred F & J come across as the favorite because they sit in the main section with alphas. Scooped are off to the side, so they look like the less-popular alternative.
