Today, I'd like to introduce our first product, the DEEP60.
In recent years, Hall effect keyboards have gradually become popular, and Hall effect keyboard players have become the main force of keyboard users. Considering that Hall effect keyboard users are more inclined to gaming style, the overall design is mainly cool. Especially with the rise of Made68 last year, light boxes have become a very popular element in the keyboard circle. So from the beginning, we planned to make a keyboard case with a light box.
At this point, some friends who are familiar with keyboard modification may have questions. Since this case is to be installed with wooting60he or other GH60 layout PCB, how to power the lights at both ends?
We considered this issue early in the design process, and after careful consideration, we concluded that the only solution was to make the entire lighting system independent.
The independent lighting control system is powered by a 2000mAh lithium battery. The battery and two small boards are connected to a small lighting control board, which also features a light switch and a Type-C charging port.
As for why a larger lithium battery wasn't used, a larger battery would also be larger. The keyboard's front height is 18mm, which wouldn't allow for a larger battery inside.
For the initial color palette, we selected three colors: anodized silver, powder-coated black, and powder-coated red.
The anodized silver surface is sandblasted with a 220-grit finish, resulting in a delicate feel and texture while retaining a strong metallic luster.
Powder-coated black and powder-coated red are sprayed with extremely fine powder and colorful glitter powder is added, which makes the actual appearance very stunning.
Based on subsequent feedback, we will add more new colors, so stay tuned!
Because it is a case for modification, there will naturally be more diverse matching options. We have also put together several plans for your reference in our spare time.
