I do want to have some updates on this project.

I apologize for the delay in updating. We have spent the past few weeks inspecting all of the units, and we have found that all the units have chamfers that slightly differ from what we received on the samples. This is on the interior chamfer of the top part of the case. As you might be able to see in the photos in the following Imgur link, there is a slight lip at the bottom of the interior chamfer.
https://imgur.com/a/MsYiOpvIn addition to the chamfer, there are small marks on the interior of the case that were caused by the hangers used during the anodization process. While we consider this normal, I wanted to point this out as we did not have these marks in the prototypes that were used to market this project.
We’ve also encountered many other defects that range from dents and scratches on the exterior of some of the units. In an effort to remedy this, we have tried to communicate with the manufacturer to remake the parts to match the samples that were used to promote this project. After much discussion and offers for additional payment, the manufacturer has unfortunately declined to remake the parts stating that they were not confident they could produce units that matches the quality of the samples we were provided. In all honesty, I was blindsided by this, and after lots of discussion between Yushakobo, KeebSupply, and myself, we had thoughts of canceling the project all together.
Given this unfortunate circumstance, I still believe in this project and would like to continue to work towards getting these into the hands of folks that are still willing to support it. The following is what to expect from each vendor:
Melonbred Shop: The issues that affect your units are the interior chamfer and hanger marks on the interior of the case. I am offering $50 USD partial refund should you decide to keep your order. You will also have the option to cancel your order for a full refund.
KeebSupply: In addition to the interior chamfer and minor hanger marks, there are some minor blemishes on some of these units. KeebSupply will be contacting you directly by email for a 42€ partial refund should you decide to keep your order. KeebSupply will send you exact pictures of the unit that you would receive so that you can directly decide if the blemishes are fine with you. Similarly to Melonbred Shop customers, you will have the option to cancel your order for a full refund.
Yushakobo: All orders will be canceled and customers will be provided a full refund. Please note that Yushakobo is not to blame for their decision to outright cancel their orders. This was due to quality of units they have received from the manufacturer which has led them to this difficult decision.
All customers will be receiving an email from their respective vendors.
I wish I could have come with better news. Understanding that this is a difficult situation, I ask that everyone please be respectful as we work through this. I wholeheartedly know that this is less than ideal, but I hope the community can see that we are trying our best to make things right.
