Hello everyone,
This is Papamao from Atelier Haven. I would like to introduce the upcoming addition to the Haven Series.
Introducing: Haven 103


Part I: Design Philosophy
Comparing to previous Haven keyboards, the 103's design is more simplified and subjugate while keeping the typical architectural vibe that all Haven keyboards have. The side profile is still clean, linear, floaty and multi material like modern architecture to ensure the keyboard always look different and yet beautiful under varying lighting environment.

 
The main design technique used here is the cutting of rectangles and squares, forming triangles on different surfaces of materials to create a dancing light and shadow on the surface of the keyboard.

 
One of the front badge included in the kit is designed the way mentioned above, while the other badge is more simplified.

 
The type-C port side of the keyboard has enhanced volumetric design through the use of a thin plate of aluminum that is machined out from a thick block of metal, while filling out the blank with a block of PVD polished stainless steel or copper.


The front height is 16.7mm, rear height is 36.5mm, ekh is 20.9mm and the typing angle is 8.5 degrees.


 
Since full size keyboards are too long, the pcb and plate are divided into two parts: 60+F zone and function+pad zone, to ensure the consistency of typing feedbacks.

Due to the lower front height, even though the gasket is used on the plate, you will still expect a more top-like supportive, hard and consistent typing experience.
