Looking for some advice for 1st build
« on: Fri, 07 November 2025, 11:43:50 »
Hello, I am looking for some advice for my first build. The internet is a confusing place  :))

So basically I am wanting to build a 100% iso UK keyboard with a volume knob/ or media keys, but the board must have support for a stepped capslock.

Hot swappable barebones kit (I will choose my own switches and caps) its just finding the board is the problem. I was looking at the gmmk 3 barebones, but looking at the pictures of the board the caps lock key mount just looks the same as the rest, so to my untrained eye it doesnt look like it supports a stepped capslock?

I will be looking to keep the barebones kit under about £120 then obviously switches and caps on top.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.  :thumb:

Sorry for necro. I think the ATM98, now called the 龙雀98 in China is a great option. And it's beautiful too! It used to be an AngryMiao project but it got cancelled. Few months ago, it was resurrected. I think it sells for around the 120GBP mark.  However, I am not sure about its ISO Enter support.
