I currently have an Jane V2 ME, which only comes in F13. Recently I have been wanting this in an F12 layout. Buying an F12 Jane, if someone is actually willing to sell, is very expensive. I am considering converting my current board to an F12 top case, by having one custom made. There are several CNC manufacturers who can achieve this. Whatever happens, this path is most likely cheaper than buying a legitimate F12 Jane.
I am curious if anyone in this hobby has tried fabricating custom CNC parts for their keyboards cases in particular. Also. I am not really sure if this is accepted or frowned upon in the keyboard hobby. Thank you!
