Hello everyone, this is MW~
We are honored to collaborate with designer KEi on MW 仮想. This is our first project together, and we believe it marks the beginning of a great partnership.

Colorway

For this set, the designer chose black, white, and gray as the base colors for the keycaps. Highly saturated purple, magenta, and cyan are used across the legends, novelties, and alpha accents to create a bold and vivid contrast.
The set will be produced in ABS double-shot, with UV printing applied to selected keys.
The physical samples shown here were matched using real GMK and SP color chips.

KITS

For the novelties, the designer drew inspiration from classic vaporwave elements, including sculptures, palm trees, sunsets, translucent effects, grids, and glitch bars.

This set pairs especially well with tinted polycarbonate boards and keyboards with highly saturated anodized finishes.

What is the meaning of this set's name in english?

Google translator says 仮想 = Virtuality and the hiragana is かそ.

Since translating between English and Japanese is often difficult, I asked Google to translate the hiragana. Unfortunately, it didn't mention the original kanji at all.

Google AI said "In Japanese, かそ (kaso) most commonly refers to 過疎, meaning depopulation, underpopulation, or low population density." I don't get that feeling from your design.

It goes on to say "less frequently, it can be written as 可塑 (kaso), which means plasticity or the ability of a material to be molded or shaped." Keycaps are molded plastic, but this meaning seems too generic.
