(GB) KŌBŌ ISSHI — Exploring Stone as a 65% Keyboard
« on: Wed, 01 July 2026, 14:48:15 »

Hello Everyone,

Today, I’m proud to present the KOSANJI case — a 65% exploration into marble as a keyboard.

Stone Variants 石の種類

Carrara White A classic Italian marble featuring soft grey veining on a clean white base. Refined, subtle, and timeless.
India Green A darker, more textured stone with deep forest tones and mineral complexity — visually striking yet balanced.

Each case is shaped in-house from a single block of marble, with natural variations in grain and veining — making every KOSANJI case visually unique.

Inspiration 着想

I’ve always admired the Japanese approach to craft — treating tools with intention, allowing materials to guide the process, and accepting that refinement takes time.

Working with stone forced that mindset. It doesn’t bend easily to direction. It reacts, resists, and asks for patience. Precision meets unpredictability — both the challenge and the appeal.

Key Information 重要情報

                        Units 50 Χ Carrara White / 50 Χ India Green
Availability Additional units may be produced if demand exceeds the initial allocation.
Pricing Carrara White — $249 USD
India Green — $249 USD
Shipping $50 USD. I’m based in Thailand, and due to the weight, shipping is costly, but I will do my best to absorb
anything above the $50 charge within reasonable limits. Domestic buyers will be priced accordingly.
Production Lead Time 90 days from the close of GB (5th November 2026).
What's Included 1 Χ 65% marble case, aluminium USB port, and standoffs or KeySnap set

…………………………………………………………………………………………………..

I should also mention that I’ve tried to keep this as community-led as possible.

A few areas of the case have come directly from feedback during the IC, so rather than forcing one final configuration on everyone, I’m giving buyers a choice where it makes sense:

• Flat base or milled risers
• Pencil divot or no pencil divot
• Fixed USB-C port insert or separate insert
• Tray mount or KeySnap mount

The goal is to keep the core identity of the KOSANJI case intact, while still letting people choose the details that best suit their own build preference.

…………………………………………………………………………………………………..

And lastly, a quick thank you to everyone who gave feedback, asked questions, or challenged parts of the design. It has genuinely helped shape the final version. Getting this project to a potential GB has already been genuinely fantastic.
