Clevy Keyboard - For people w/ special needs

I stumbled on this during an ebay-session:
http://cgi.ebay.de/Clevy-computer-tastatur-Keyboard-fur-kinder-qwertz-/200541891018?pt=M%C3%A4use_Tastaturen&hash=item2eb13a69ca
it tracked my attention due to the high price and the weight of 2.0 KG.
according to the producer (
http://www.bnc-distribution.com/products/clevy
) the keys are four times bigger than those on normal keyboards.
you can even test the board for 30 days:

I've seen it before, it just doesn't make any sense. Why are the keycaps that big? Kids who can't press smaller keycaps can't read anyway.

This might make more sense for the motorically challenged. Then the colors aren't all that fitting though.

Hardware in signatures clutters Google search results. There should be a field in the profile for that (again).
This message was probably typed on a vintage G80-3000 with blues. Double-shots, baby.
