I bought a Monsgeek M3 kit about 2 years ago with Akko Penguins and this thing feels great. However, a year later, it started to have chattering and missed keypress issues. And despite changing debounce settings, it continues to get worse and worse over the subsequent year, and is virtually unuseable at this point. If it was just a few keys, that's one thing, but it is just a rampant problem.
I see a lot of people really like Akko Penguins and afterall they were sold as a kit with the M3 so I assumed they are suitable for these hot-swappable keyboard PCB's.
I don't want to sink more money into this keyboard, but if it's just a matter of getting Cherry or Gateron switches and having a fantastic keyboard again, I would happily buy a set of 90 switches. And assuming these Akko's are fundamentally ok, but just not great in a hot-swappable keyboard, I'll save them for a soldered project in the future.
Any ideas and thoughts as to whether I should just buy new switches and switch them all out? Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
