Pfft, wrong forum to worry about where the computer is. We're the people who throw away the poor innocent Dolches after tearing their keyboard off.

The price is ridiculous; there's an entire 5155 for $100 BIN.

I've got one of those. The entire thing (keyboard and computer) cost me $20 Canadian and I picked it up, so no shipping. That $345 price for just the keyboard is insane. Not only that, the idiot seller has the 5155 computer and is trying to get $793 for it. So that makes it $1138 plus shipping for the complete unit. Wow, good deal. :der:

This keyboard only works with the 5155 computer - unless there's some adapter out there I don't know about. I HATE when sellers have a complete unit - with parts that work only with that unit, but they split it up to try to maximize profit. I've seen plenty of rare and desirable computer systems totally disintegrated so that the seller can try to make extra on parts. (which usually fails)

Yeah, it doesn't have a backplate and the price is insane (as I agreed above), but the keyboard has a light, yet solid feel. The case doesn't flex at all when twisted (unlike AT) and is made out of a material that feels a bit like wood or rough bakelite.

I like to watch TV with a 5155 keyboard on my lap, typing nothing... just for the satisfying clicky feel.
