These keyboards are all over ebay in various strange woods.. A lot of them seem to have Cherry switches, makes me curious, but not that curious.

They're really pretty. I think the finish would get pretty sticky and dirty in a hurry with any significant usage though.

There's a few listings of these on eBay. Does anyone know if they really use Cherry key switches?

I'll hazard a guess that these "Bamboo keyboards" are rubber domes at these price-point. The "wooden Keyboards" with MX switches are a little more expensive.

So would you agree that you're "buy-curious"?

No, they're probably just plastic.

Did you see the idiot who posted a comment complaining about the waste of trees?  Apparently, he doesn't know much about bamboo.  Then, there was the guy complaining about the West "thinking with their wallets".  I appreciate nature much more than your average person..... But why is it the majority of the greenies are so stupid?
Notable Switches I have tried:
black cherry, blue cherry, brown cherry, clear cherry, cherry M84, white alps, black alps, cream alps, Monterey blue alps, Fujitsu Peerless, Gateway2000 rubber dome, Keytronic rubber dome, Model M buckling spring, Model F buckling spring, futaba, black space invader

Pretty cool if they applied a different finish (I really don't like the one they have in the photos) and if I could get a steady supply of replacement keycaps. Hey it's bamboo, that stuff just keeps growing.
